Most of us love to feel as if we are in control of our lives and so whenever something doesn’t go as planned, it causes us to flip out and lose our cool. What I suggest you do is surrender. Next time you feel like you’re going to flip out over something not going your way, take a deep breath in and repeat “I surrender”. You can’t change the situation, but you can change the way you react to it. The more that you practice this technique, the more relaxed you will feel and you’ll be ready to take on whatever life throws your way!
The relationship that you have with yourself is the most important one. Be you. You are awesome and have nothing you need to change. Take care and strengthen your relationship with yourself in order to “Stay Awesome” and embrace who you truly are.
I absolutely love this quote and I am going to try to apply it to my life every single day. Below is my story of how it resonated with me last night.
So I had a major creativity block last night. I knew I had to upload a Little Miracles quote and I was getting myself so overwhelmed and stressed out because I just could not get the lettering right! I had my first go at Adobe Illustrator and I think I must have spent 2-3 hours on there trying to figure out how to work it. My ego (fear-based voice) kept yelling at me that “I wasn’t good enough”, “I would never get the hang of it” etc etc.
So I surrendered and went to bed. When I woke up this morning, I truly thought about the quote that I was trying to write out and I realised it had been right there in front of me the whole time. “Peace Begins With Me.” If I had just taken a moment to center myself and take a deep breath, I would probably have found peace in that moment and been able to look at the situation in a more positive light.
This is a great lesson. Yes, it’s okay to feel frustrated but you don’t need to feel that way. All you need is to look within and you will find peace to help shut that ego voice out and move past any blocks.

One of the first books that I read on my self-healing journey was ‘Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway‘ by Susan Jeffers. The book is so amazing and really changed my life. It is all about stepping up and owning your power!
